Last Day in Dublin…we went off to the old prison…kilmainham Gaol…you need a guided tour in order to visit the prison..we took it..an important note to rmb when you come Europe..please bring your student pass! I forgot to bring mine and we have to smoke through by using only dear’s student pass..some areas were lenient..others weren’t…but overall..it helped us save quite an amount..students enjoy great discounts over admission fees..
Ive learnt a lot from the prison tour..some tragic stories of the prisoners..apparently people who went on protests..and people who committed very minor crimes were imprisoned that time..pictures..stories..punishments were depicted along the way…we saw the separate confinement basis for the prisoners..saw where they were hung..the guide definitely made the visit interesting.

Our next stop was St.Jameson distillery..the place that produced the famous irish whiskey, which we had during the Wicklow tour yesterday…same too..we went through the process of whiskey production and had a free drink at the end…I like this whiskey more than the stout…though the stout wasn't as bitter as I thought…the whiskey was prepared via dilution with raspberry juice..it’s sweet and yet refreshing…it’s the drink that has left me best memories thus far…as compared with Cava we had in Spain…
After St. Jameson..we embarked for Skerries Island, the place which someone recommended us to visit..there were windmills over there..also by the sea..so we took the DART again…I like the DART..brings me to places that always have hidden surprises…and reached there in an hour’s time..there wasn't much directions from the railway station..we thought we were lost as the railway station was next to a residential area…but luckily..we start to see the windmills appearing..
Skerries Windmills appeared in front of us…in order to get close to the mills..you gotta pay an admission fee to get a free guided tour..wasnt expensive…we walked through the mill fields..entered into the windmills..understood how people in early days use physics ..to transfer mechanical energy into electrical power…understood how they use pulleys to transfer energy and see how magnificient wind does..an eyeopener in fact..and guess what..actuallie we encounter many small small windows in buildings along the way..wasnt too sure why people like such designs..it’s actuallie during the early times…pple are only allowed to construct small windows..the bigger the windows..the more tax u gotta pay…so since pple are poor..they can only afford small windows..it’s like what they call..”daylight robbery”..that’s what we understood from the guide..

Walked to the beach after seeing the windmills..we saw 3 islands..some distance away from the shore..it was said that a saint once stepped foot into one of the islands..leaving a deep footprint which was still visible..but too bad we didn't see it as it was in high-tide that time…we walked from one end to another..many pple brought their dogs for stroll..there were many pretty houses along the coast..i bet they cost highly…it’ll be so wonderful to wake up in the morning..open your windows..and see the sea in front of you..which has no boundaries at all…pple train their dogs in the waters…play catching with them..or just take out their picnic mats and have a meal by the beach…scenic!
We had our dinner at Skerries..food wasn't as fantastic as in Howth..that’s what we thought…after meal…we walked to the railway station and saw the entire beach was filled with seagulls…there wasn't anyone there..just seagulls..the curious us then tried to walk near the seagulls to take some shots..but think we were too noisy..they flew off shortly after haha…
The water was very clear that you can see the stones beneath vividly…amazing place..with the windmills…the seagulls..the beach..and the islands…this ended our journey in Dublin…off we go to the next destination…Madrid, hoLA!
