Conference is to start in the late afternoon that day…so we got the whole morning to ourselves…im actually amazed by how much we covered that day..all via walking..as you can imagine..dublin is actually a very compact city..easily covered by walking…
City Walk
And so…here we go… dublin castle, Christchurch cathedral, Temple Bar in the afternoon, Grafton Street, merrion Square, and the famous Liffey River which divides Dublin into the north and south parts.

People in Dublin, I must comment, are generally friendly and helpful to us when we need help in directions and explanations on tax-refunds(an important thing to take note when you are shopping at any EU countries and when you are not an EU citizen! Haha..saves you some bucks for future shopping).
Peaceful and relatively safe places even at late hours..except for some fanatic youngsters who start to appear near wee hours…as you can imagine..dublin has lotsa pubs..walk 5 steps..you see pubs..and the people seem to knock off early..the opening hours are like..they open few hours in the morning..rest over the noon for a lunch break or something..and open their shops again like 4pm till 6-7pm..that’s it..well…will you want such a lifestyle?haha
And trying hard not to skip any lectures, I obediently went back to attend the conference and the opening speech. It was an eye opening experience..people from all over the world converge at the same area..discussing..catching up…and looking forward to the upcoming talks in the subsequent days of the conference. The first talk was very interesting and it kept me awake even though it’s held like 8pm..Dear was even more powerful when waiting for me..he got to speak to a German, who’s waiting for his spouse in this conference..

At the end of day,We went back with sore feet after so much walking..and the nights in Dublin are very cold and chilly with light rain all the time..shivers~
